Blouberg Full Moon Beach Gathering

The Full Moon is an incredibly powerful time in the lunar cycle. It is a time of balance and a time to let go of that which no longer serves us. It is an opportunity to reflect.

Bring your family and friends along and join Lauren Mensikovas Yoga for another beautiful beach Yoga session focusing on a calming, restorative sequence, followed by a meditation. Cape Town Magical Mushroom March

This march is intended to be a peaceful celebration for the entire Fungal Kingdom. These organisms play an enormously important role in our environment and offer many beneficial uses to humanity including being used for food, medicines, as spiritual tools and for recreational purposes.

This will also be the first ever march in Cape Town, and possibly in South Africa, for the legalisation of Psilocybin aka "Magic Mushrooms" or "Sacred Mushrooms" and is a calling to the Psi culture to unite and to celebrate their cause.

One of the intentions of the march will be to help educate South Africans about and create awareness for the movement to legalise and regulate the use of Psilocybin mushrooms. If this is a cause that’s close to your heart, be sure to attend this enlightened gathering.

Great pianist Nduduzo Makhathini, and winner of the Standard Bank Young Artist Award. Idols contestant Amanda Black whose debut studio album was certified platinum three weeks after its release.

Jamaican Dancehall/Reggae singer and actress Alaine Laughton who has featured on many big hits such as “dying For A Cure” by Wayne Marshall, both of her own and a rhythm section band featuring world renowned Reggae Jazz producer, arranger, song-writer and saxophone player, Dean Fraser.

Earthdance ReEvolution JHB 2017

The Earthdance Global Peace Party is the world's largest underground music and dance event for peace. Held annually since 1997, the event features hundreds of music artists, DJs, dancers, and speakers at local Earthdance events around the world, on the same weekend each year.

National Raam Bhajana Festival

Every 4 year Indians throughout the Durban celebrate Raam Bhajana. The festival serves to commemorate and celebrate Lord Rama, an Indian deity. The festival is not exclusively for those of the Andhra Community but open to the general public, it is a day of celebration.

You can expect to be greeted with dance and song all in the praise and memory of Lord Rama, experience a new and different culture and visit the National Raam Bhajana Festival.

Tip: When visiting a religious establishment, please be respectful of their rules and customs.

Zombie Walk Durban 2017

The Zombie Walk will be divided into two walks, a kid friendly walk where the littler ones won’t be trampled and the creepy after dark walk.

The kids walk will kick off in the early afternoon and is for children between the ages 2 and 12 years old. The trainee zombies will be taught how to hunt and find their next meal just like the undead, after training they will head over to the inflatable obstacle course. What’s better than little zombies hunting for brains!

To cool things down there will be a Zombie water balloon brain run, so pack a costume and towel and expect a day of thrills.

The Zombie Night Walk will start at 6pm sharp. Like all previous zombie walks this one is pet friendly, so bring the whole family. There will be food and drink available for sale, and security scattered along the route to ensure no zombies are harmed. Get your best zombie attire and practice your grunting because this one is going to raise the dead.

Once you have gotten your fill of brains the night ends off with a rocking party on the seaside. There will be live DJs keeping those zombie legs going all night long. You can expect to find a variety of human foods for sale and a full bar.
