Fans can finally look forward to seeing their favourite songs performed live with a selection of timeless gems such as Big Jet Plane, Just A Boy, Heart Beats Slow, Mango Tree and many more.Angus & Julia Stone will also perform songs from their brand new album, SNOW, released September 2017.

The album features 12 glorious tracks penned by Angus and Julia together and was produced, and largely engineered, by the Sydney-born siblings themselves.

UCON 2018

Once again Genshiken is proud to bring you UCON. The anime, gaming, and general nerd convention returns to UCT's sports centre for a weekend of unrivalled fun and adventure.

Visitors can expect to find anime and fandom related stalls, maid cafe, gaming tournaments and demos (hosted by the marvellous Zombiegamer), demonstrations, quizzes, and much more.

With an array of traders featuring their goods this is one expo you don't want to miss!

STBB Red Hill Marathon and Classic #RunClean2018

The Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes Red Hill Marathon and Classic takes place this January along the Fish Hoek mountain side.

Both races will proceed from Fish Hoek AC along Kommetjie Road to Kommetjie, up Slangkop, through Misty Cliffs and Scarborough to the Perdekloof intersection.

The 36.2km Classic will fork to the left up Red Hill. The Marathon will fork to the right and do a 6km loop towards Cape Point returning to the Perdekloof intersection where it re-joins the Classic up Red Hill. Both races are then run over Red Hill, down towards Simonstown Main Road and back through Glencairn.

Just before the traffic circle runners will turn right into Beach Road, left into Recreation, then into Upper Recreation, through the back roads of Fish Hoek before finishing on the field at Fish Hoek Athletic Club.

Bazique Festival 2018

Bazique Festival is a new local born event inspired by International Festival flare.

International acts and performing arts are a mere hour away from Cape Town at the Elgin/Grabouw Country Club. Bazique is a 3-day musical reverie performed on 6 stages, all set in a surreal lakeside landscape and filled to the brim with art, humour and the wondrous company of friends.

This Festival is brought to you by a crew of South African party architects in cahoots with major U.K festival, The Secret Garden Party Bazique partners with cronies such as; the Secret Garden Party (UK) Sexy Groovy Love, pop bottles, Wolfkop Weekender, Diskotekah, Cape Town Electronic Music Festival and the head creative behind Glade Festival (UK) and Wilderness Festival (UK).

Cape Town Carnival

The Cape Town Carnival is a glamorous celebration of the transformative power of creativity and our African identity with its diverse array of communities and cultures.

Every year, this festive occasion inspires our city and her people to create, build and play together – thousands of spectators converge annually on Green Point’s famous Fan Walk to join the extravagant parade of costumed performers, musicians and moving floats.

19th Annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival 2018

The 19th annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival takes place on 23 & 24 March 2018 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

The Cape Town International Jazz Festival is the flagship event for the leading events management and production company espAfrika which has staged and produced several world-renowned events. Affectionately referred to as ‘Africa’s Grandest Gathering’ by both South African and international media.

The Cape Town International Jazz Festival, is the largest music event in sub-Saharan Africa. This year, the festival will boast multiple stages, over 40 artists, performing over 2 nights. The programming, unique to the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, is made up of South African and international artists respectively.

The 2nd Annual South African International Tattoo Convention

The South African International Tattoo Convention is annually hosted in Cape Town. 80 Tattoo artists from around the world are invited to contribute to this show.

Showcasing, within a quality, intimate setting, the best of international Tattoo art. Visitors can look forward to experiencing new cultures and people, world class tattooing and generally just a good time.

Two Oceans Marathon 2018

The Two Oceans Marathon is loved among all athletes in South Africa, this is one of the most scenic races in the world.

There are two distance options, 56km Ultra race and a 21km half marathon. both races finish on the rugby field of the University of Cape Town.

The stunning route leads runnings along the Indian and Atlantic Ocean. An unprecedented 56 kilometer adventure over the most beautiful part of the Cape Peninsula.
