Kwazulu Natal Shark Board gives you the opportunity to view sharks without getting your feet wet. They provide guided research tours and visitors are taught about the conservation they do with tagging and monitoring sharks in the area.

Another fun activity for the whole family is a visit to the Umgeni River Park. Originally a stone quarry, the park now spans over 3,5 hectares of lush tropical land, home to a collection of more than 800 birds.

With various educational programs and the frequented flight show, the park will keep you entertained for hours.

You can’t visit Durban without going to the world-renowned uShaka Marine World. Located on Durban’s Golden Mile, uShaka is a much-loved tourist spot.

Groove World Adventure Park

Found on Cliffdale Hills, Groove World offers adrenaline junkies just the right fix with Zorbing! Zorbing is an extreme sport where you are secured inside a large transparent ball and rolled along the ground or even downhill for that extra rush.

It’s great fun and quite safe as the ball is made up of two inflatable parts, the outer area and the inner ring that you are secured to. You can choose between the Kamakazi or Twister runs, both spanning a 120m track.
