Cape Town's favourite comedy club is throwing the party of the year... literally. The Club has a reputation for having their guests in stitches and this NYE it is exactly what they plan on doing. The Pumphouse is home to this showcase of talent, situated in the charismatic V&A Waterfront, Cape Town's main water dock; it sees the likes of tourists and locals daily. Cape Town's Comedy Club has returned the 1882 building to its entertainment roots as it has played host to many live music acts in the 90's.
Cape Town Comedy Club was founded by comedian Kurt Schroonraad in 2005 where the brand quickly cemented their name in the comedy scene as the mother of Cape Town comedy.

Kurt Schroonraad
Kurt Schroonraad is no stranger to his roots, hailing from the Cape Flats, Mitchell's Plain, his tongue-in-cheek sense of humour relates to the locals of South Africa. An accomplished actor and comedian, he is known for his comic personality and epic one-man shows.
Certainly well rehearsed in keeping even the toughest crowds entertained, Kurt is a master of his craft.
Airborne
The Australian hard rock band Airborne was formed in 2003, its members consist of:

- Justin Street - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals
- Harri Harrison - Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals
The 2007 debut album - Runnin' Wild made the top 30 ARIA Album Chart where things only seemed to steamroll for the band. Receiving multiple award nominations and releasing many successful albums that also topped charts world wide, Airborne is a name held close to any lover of rock music.
