Bazique Festival has now firmly established itself as SA’s most original and exciting, large-scale festival of performing arts.
Bazique is a unique collaboration of some of the best party crews in Cape Town that come together once a year to produce an incredible festival of performing arts.

Last year Bazique sold out 2 weeks before the show – and they are set to sell out even quicker this year.
Bazique is a NO under 20’s event. If you are blessed with a youthful demeanour, then please make sure you bring your ID so the helpful gate staff can see you in smoothly.

Bazique Full Festival Line - Up
The 2020 lineup features 6 international acts and over 60 local acts, delightfully spliced with a myriad of performance art, spectacular site art installations, art cars, art boats, pop-up parties and, this year, an amazing floating stage. (Bring your Lilos so you can get to it!)
Bazique will feature 5 stages: The Kraal, Corona Ukudlala Beach, La Fee Verta, Silent Disco and Journeys End Island.
The Kraal
A new art-immersive area presented in association with the official charity partner, Bridges For Music, that combines live bands with an African flavour in the daytime, with Deep House, Afrobeat, Ngom and Techno till sunrise.
Cape Town Electronic Music Festival takeover on the Friday Night. Bridges For Music curate the music for the Saturday and Sunday.

Corona Ukudlala Beach
Come and shake yer hula and dance all day on the lakeside sand to deep house and tropical beats. Be fabulous and dress in your tropical daytime disco best.
Bazique is a festival of the arts – come be part of the spectacle! Mermaiding workshops and table tennis in the shallows… Come on down to their very own wonky Club Tripicana.
We House Sundays host on Friday from 12pm to Sunset; the maestro’s of Sunday dance-parties always bring the tight rhythm section.
Wolfkop Weekender have the floor on Saturday, bringing it home with a sonic offering from their river bank.

La Fee Verta
An Electric Ballroom, Whisky Bar and Revue, purveying music to make you dance that ain't house techno or trance… instead they have Funk, Disco, Jazz, Swing, Hip Hop, Be-Bop, Rock n Roll, and a whole lotta love accompanied by strange entertainer’s on and off the stage.
Burlesque dancers and gypsy swingers, bad taxidermy and good whisky, strong absinthe and weak wills… a den of oddness and iniquity that is definitely not for the faint hearted…
This groundbreaking, indoor entertainment concept is designed and delivered by Andrew Florenca and Will Hutton from The Sunroom.

Silent Disco
Baziques's brilliant amigos at Silent Events will once again be bringing their 3-channel multi-genre headphone shindig to Bazique, doing pop-up parties on various playa locations over the weekend.

Journeys End Island
A floating stage in the middle of the lake! Accessed by rowing boat or inflatable of your choice, there will also be a ferry service…
But partygoers are recommended to bring your own mode of aquatic transport for convenience!

Accommodation
General camping is included in your festival ticket, however Bazique have made some special camping and glamping options available. These options sell out fast so get booking ASAP!!
BRING YOUR OWN CAMPING
The main camping area is set beside the main beach, on the huge swimming lake with mountain views. It’s a stunner.
Bring shade if you want it, and please remember to only use biodegradable sunscreen to protect the lake. This beautiful campsite is totally free with your 3 day festival pass! No vehicles are allowed in this area.

VEHICLE CAMPING PASS: CAR & CAMPER VAN
If you would like to camp next to your car or with your camper van, this pass is for you! It’s close to the action and the Lake!
One Car Pass allows two camping tents per car and four people per car. These passes go fast, so crack on and buy one if you want to camp with your vehicle.

These basic but good- quality dome tents with 2 single foam mattresses, inside the general camp side.
No setting up or breaking down, it is enough space for two people, two rucksacks and a whole lotta fun. You have access to the standard festival toilets and shower block. Max 2 people.

These basic but good- quality dome tents with 2 single foam mattresses, inside the general camp side.

Venue
Ruitersvlei Wine Estate is situated on Agter Paarl Road. The estate is the home of Cape Dirt and offers a restaurant, quarry dam, flagship wines and wedding venue.
The stunning vineyard provides partygoers with distant views of our very own Table Mountain and endless rolling green hills. A nature lovers paradise!
